International Wine and Spirits Exhibition to happen on March 27-29

The 2012 Third Session of China (Guangzhou) International Wine and Spirits Exhibition will take place on March 27 to 29, 2012 in the Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Center.

The event, which takes advantage of Guangzhou’s geographical location within the Pearl River Delta Region, is expected to draw 100,000 local and foreign visitors to create a professional international wine festival.

Statistics show that wine consumption in China now hits 1.05 kiloliter annually, an increase of 27.6 percent year-on-year, while consumption of spirits rose 27.2 percent.

International wine business also focuses more on China, thanks to lower Customs Tax – bottled wines from 43 percent to 14 percent.
